In a world where there are so many ambitious people especially those in the field of music, it is often hard to come by someone truly unique. Standing out from the crowd is one such individual by the name of Yung Dub D. Starting out with his first song “Driver” in 2017, what he lacked in perfection, he made up for in determination and hard work. Yung Dub D has bit by bit progressed to the top and is now quite successful in the rap and hip-hop genres.
Yung Dub D whose real name is Kedric Dewon Battee has been born and brought up in Dallas Texas. Afterwards, he moved out to Cedar hill where he went to High School. Growing up, it was hanging out with his friends and similar-minded musically talented people that helped him realise the passion and talent he had. However, this wasn’t his first time producing or composing music. Yung Dub D had actually been recording since 2014 with a group called “Check Life”. He was also involved with producing for one of the group members. As his own confidence grew and he found himself getting more and more compliments, Yung Dub D finally took the next left in his life.
Although inspired by some of the biggest names in the industry such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Lil Wayne, Yung Dub D has maintained his distinctive style of highly energetic music beats along with a catchy and rhythmic melody. This can be heard best in the song “Core” which was particularly helpful to raise Yung Dub D to the standard he deserves. It brought him to the eyes of several hip hop and rap enthusiasts from all over the world and now Yung Dub D can boast of a great fan following as well.
It is hence no wonder that Yung Dub D’s latest album, set o release on the 17th of September is being highly anticipated and speculated about. People are already raving about who it might feature and what the theme of the album will be. However, keeping all those facts aside one can rest assured that it will be a masterpiece just like the rest.
