After many years of hard work, Lianeo Real Estate GmbH, the manager of Amir Dayan’s property Vogelpothsweg 12 to 26 in Dortmund, satisfied all conditions necessary for the building to be put into use again.
Residential firm Forte Group carried out the comprehensive refurbishment of the more than 400 apartments and is the new owner of the building. Both parties have agreed to keep the purchase price and further transaction details confidential.
Amir Dayan (אמיר דיין איש עסקים ונדל”ן בין לאומי) is reducing his holdings in residential properties, turning his focus to hotels and commercial properties.
“Forte, a company specializing in residential property, already owns an extensive housing stock in Dortmund. With the sale, we have created the best conditions for a speedy redevelopment of the building. We would like to thank the city of Dortmund and all parties involved for the good cooperation on the challenging path towards the building permit,” Robert Döring said on behalf of Lianeo.
According to a Forte manager Alexander Hayn, “The property has a troubled past. We are therefore proud to carry out the redevelopment. As part of our large residential portfolio, we will make the building once again a home for many people and will swiftly start the conversion measures in the second half of 2021. We are an experienced residential company and are committed to providing good, affordable housing.”
The building is situated at the Dortmund-Dorstfeld Süd S-Bahn station. The campus of the prestigious University of Dortmund can be reached on foot within 15 minutes. “The proximity to the university as well as the neighboring parks with their green retreats make the building an attractive place to live for many people,” Alexander Hayn believed.
