An Interview with Multi-million Entrepreneur Mike Barron

All of the resources available online can get confusing and overwhelming and that is the reason we decided to interview Mike Barron, a multi-million dollar entrepreneur who has earned two 2-Comma Club awards. 

In this interview, Mike Barron shares valuable insights of what it takes to build and run a successful business in today’s climate. 

Q) What common mistakes do you notice entrepreneurs make?

I usually see their ego get in the way of their success. They focus too much on appearance, and aesthetics of their brands instead providing a raw, authentic and genuine customer experience. Being a know-it-all and not accepting constructive criticism or refusing to hire a mentor early on is a big mistake. 

Q) What is a rule you live by? 

Stay humble, grateful, and never lie. Having integrity will take you far, especially if you are an online entrepreneur. When you break these rules, the universe will conspire against you, but when you move through life with a high level of integrity, and gratitude, the right people will naturally gravitate towards you. 

Q) How do individuals communicate with new potential customers during COVID?

Social media will open many doors for many entrepreneurs, especially when they show up authentically. Most people use social media now which gives you opportunity to reach out to millions of people who you can help. Focus on impacting lives in a positive way and you will never lack clientele. Support others, create relationships and the opportunities will follow.

Q) What tips do you have for young entrepreneurs who are trying to find out what their next steps are? 

Master the skill of sales. When you learn how to do sales, you become unstoppable. Don’t be afraid to struggle or make mistakes. Exponential growth and great lessons always come after mistakes. Failure is inevitable, but if you learn how to dance with uncertainty and be willing to break before you glow, you will reach your highest potential.
