Bryan McCoy was born in a small-town country and his upbringing took place on a ranch in Grants, New Mexico. His grandparents were race car drivers and his grandfather even built the first race track, the Uranium Speedway, in their hometown.
Due to his family background with cars and racing, Bryan McCoy developed a strong fascination for racing. In addition to this, Bryan McCoy developed a strong interest in action films by seeing unbelievable visual spectacles on the screen at a young age. It made him develop a passion for performing stunts & choreographed actions.
The pro stuntman would love Evil Knievel during his growing years and he would fearlessly try actions to attain perfections in his acts. At 15, he even told his mother the empty star on Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk would bear his name on someday.
Bryan McCoy traveled from Albuquerque to Grants and then to Los Angeles to fulfill his dream of becoming a Hollywood stuntman. He would do background work in short roles and finally, he obtained his SAG card after 4 years. In 2012, Bryan got his first role as a stunt double on a very low-budget movie.
After that, Bryan McCoy has worked hard to gain expertise as a seasoned stunt player pro and founded Real McCoy Stunts (RMS). He possesses a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) Class A and he is an expert in doing stunt driving, drifting, stick shift, precision driving, fire burns, wirework, automatics weapons, and falls.
Bryan McCoy also serves as an instructor at the Motion Picture Driving Clinic. It is his courageous attitude and risk-taking ability that make him a pro stuntman in Hollywood.
