Recently, Amrit Kaur, who resides in Sector 42 Of Chandigarh got trapped in the hands of a snatcher. She went to have a dinner, and was accompanied by her pal. Having done dinner, the two left for their car. They were completely unaware of the things that would take place soon. The moment they were about to get in to the car, a stealer proceeded towards Amrit from the back. Within a fraction of moment, he snatched the lady’s purse worth Rs 30,000 which held her belongings of Rs 15,000 and iPhone X.
No matter how much alerted the police department appears, the chain snatching incidents have yet not came to a halt. It has become a ritual to read at least one such information about robbery crimes per day.
It appears that as the number of such crimes is increasing day to day, double the number of chain snatchers are emerging. They carry out these activities with so much ease and confidence that the victim just gets stunned as to what happened exactly.
Not a surprise, one more such incident took place in the early hours of Saturday, 27th April at around 7:25 AM. The whole incident was recorded in the CCTV Camera. A 75-year-old woman named Darshan Kaur, as per her daily routine, was having a walk with her walking stick in the Sector 44 of Chandigarh. Two accused, wearing helmets, were riding on a bike. They were passing by, when they saw the old lady. Finding her alone, they took a U-Turn and headed towards her. As she was about to enter her home, one of the two culprits walked closer to the lady and snatched her chain.
Before the poor old day realizes as to what has happened and shout out for a help, the thieves vanished in high speed.
However, a case has been filed by the victim’s family. Cops have started with the investigation, and are trying to identify the robbers with the help of CCTV Footage.
