Emilie Kirchgesner On How She Balanced School And Her Passion For Dance

Some people love arts. They are more into painting, poetry, dancing, and music, as compared to chemistry or biology. Those artists are the ones who make life livable. Emilie Kirchgesner is one of those artists, who went to school but managed to follow her passion as well ardently. She started her professional career as a dancer when she was just 13 years old. When she was in school, Emilie had to go on tours. Her teachers also helped her to handle the busy schedule but it was still always difficult.

Emilie says she went to school, but she never enjoyed it 100% because her passion was something else. She was always into arts – painting, writing, and music was always her sort of thing. Emilie did not like subjects that required too much effort, like Science or Maths.

When she finished her high school, she moved to Toronto to complete her studies. It was the right college for her. Emilie made great friends there. She learned how to do group work and even studied under many experienced teachers.

Performing arts there was amazing and Emilie shares that she loved taking acting classes. She enjoyed college more than High school. When asked now, Emilie says that she would love to go back to college and learn something in Fashion. She has always been passionate about fashion and would like to pursue it further. Thanks to Instagram, her reach is growing every day. If she takes a course in Fashion, she will be well equipped to take the internet by storm.

Balancing school and her passion for dancing was hard. But Emilie Kirchgesner learned that school was equally important even though she didn’t fully like it. She knew if she wanted to be successful, education was necessary.
