It didn’t take much time after hopping on a call with up-and-coming Miami artist, PANDAGR@MM, for me to realize that he would be one to watch in 2022. You see, it’s not often you see someone release such hot tracks in the rapid fire way that he has, and it’s almost never that each track is hotter than the one that preceded it.
With a discography coming alive in the first half of 2022, he’s fresh to the scene and ready to make an impact in the Hip-Hop world. When I asked to what he credits his rapid ascension, he laughed and said “You know, that’s something I get asked pretty often these days. And I wish I had this profound revelation to tell you that’ll act as some sort of shortcut. But to be honest, I don’t think shortcuts exist in this space. I’ve been working on this for years.”
It’s plain to see he’s not exaggerating when he says this is years in the making. The interpolation of the different styles of modern rap and hip-hop can only come from someone who’s been methodically crafting their art for some time. After finishing the call, I felt inspired and motivated to attack my day. It’s easy to see why his fanbase has fallen in love with his sound so quickly.
