How Trace Johnson is Mastering Sales, Leadership, and Marketing

Mastering a specific skill is one single aspect every entrepreneur should strive for. Why? Because once you are the best at something, success, fame, status, and money follow. Trace Johnson is on a journey to improving and mastering skill sets that can enable him to provide the most value in the space he is in.

About Trace Johnson

Trace is a people person. He is bold, a visionary, and a humble servant leader whose life revolves around “people first.” He is well-rounded in both life and business. Trace’s first opportunity was a door-to-door sales position. However, he failed at it, unfortunately. He chose to sit under the mentorship of Dustin Venekamp. He first made a name for himself when he called a shot five weeks into the business he was in. Trace wrote a whopping 20K in 10 days during a 10-day road trip that he led.

At that point, his focus on sales grew immensely. He began building his agency. Sooner than later, Trace was a Top rookie MGA (Managing General Agent) for the whole year in 2020.

How To Master Skills In Sales, Leadership & Marketing

Burning the boats means completely doing away with any distractions that will derail your focus. Any plan B that can take your attention away from your plan A may make you forget your mission and purpose. However, if you remain disciplined and focus on your craft consistently, you will master your skills.

Mentors are amazing people. When you start something that you haven’t mastered well, it will help if you find someone who is a pro in the art. These people have the capacity to encourage you into personal development. They will help you identify and achieve your goals. Additionally, they will help you identify and correct gaps in generic skills and knowledge and help you increase your confidence. Therefore, if you want to master a skill, find someone who has everything you want in life, and do as they do, act as they act, and listen as they teach. And soon, you will have what they have.

Having a purpose will drive you to want to succeed, and in the process, you will master the skills that can help you. Trace always had a goal and a desire to impact people. He wanted to make a difference in people’s lives as well as help them to succeed. It is true that once you find your purpose that is when you will begin to see the avenues of fulfilling it.

Learning a skill does not need an ego. Learn to serve the people without making it personal. Get outside of yourself and start performing. Learn to diagnose people’s wants and needs and figure out how to help them.

Conclusion

Therefore, if you want to master sales, leadership, and/or marketing, eliminate every distraction, find a mentor, purpose, and serve the people. For more tips on how to master your craft, you can connect with Trace Johnson on Instagram; @tracejohnson_
