Maria Syrotiuk, also known as Meriel, like every next person had the dream of becoming successful and living life in America. She wanted to be successful and recognized. But being a girl from Ukraine, it was hard for her to move to the States. When she was 16, she started her own business; she sold branding items that she ordered overseas. This is where her business venture started. She was pretty good at it. When her parents were making only $300 per month, she was making $1000.
She also starred her brand of men’s accessories and launched it on Amazon. However, the brand got blocked. Still, she kept learning more about current opportunities. Mariia invested in Bitcoin; she took MUA classes, she even tried to grow her following on Instagram.
When she was only 19, she moved out of her parent’s house and rented a place with her boyfriend in the town’s heart. One can say she was living the life. But she wanted so much more. She planned on moving to the US. So she saved $20K, and then she took a flight and came to the US.
However, Mariia did not know English, so she had to take English classes at Charleston. But in her first week here, she faced a lot of troubles. All her money was gone because nobody would give her a job, and nobody would even rent her a place in South Caroline. With what little money she had left, she went to New York.
In New York, she took a chance, but she got a job there. Mariia started working in a watch shop in the Diamond District. Her hard work helped her get through a tough time. She made friends and connections. Soon she became a popular figure on Instagram. Her work demand became huge, and she had to start outsourcing.
Her team grew, and soon it wasn’t only New York, but LA. Her marketing business came to a halt due to COVID-19, but even through that, Mariia helped clients. She came up with brilliant ideas to keep businesses running amidst a pandemic. When she was in Ukraine, her dream was to start a family, but she wanted to do so much more. As her business flourishes, she wants to grow and try her hand in real estate.
