Responsibilities could be burdening. Everywhere we turn around, we can see many people who gave up on their dreams because they had some responsibilities to fulfill. But is the responsibility a good reason to give up on your dreams? Well, for some it might become an anchor to hold them back whereas for some it becomes a reason to keep pushing. The choice is always yours to make. Matthew Schultz chose the latter and he is what he is because of his choices.
Matthew is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. Today, Matthew is a well-known solo-recording artist. His work is influenced by dance, chill pop, chill EDM, and EDM. He is most famously known for his song ‘Somewhere Far’ which hit over 8 million streams on Spotify. This song became a part of Spotify’s top playlists like ‘Chill Hits’. It made its spot on the ‘Viral 50’ list in 8 countries across the globe. In addition to this, Matthew is currently the Head of Retail for American Financial Network, with a partner and friend John D’Onofrio. As per the latest reports, they have projected over 7 billion in closed loan volume in 2019 and also led the American Financial Network together to almost 14 Billion in funded loans in 2021.
He lost his father when he was very young. He had an undying love for music and wanted to pursue a career in the same field. But it is a well-known fact that the life of artists is not easy. It demands huge patience and could not be relied on for finances. Soon after graduating from college, Matthew took a job at Mortgage Banking so that he could take care of his family. He had no choice but to be responsible. This was not a favorable condition for Matthew but he never gave up on music. Mathew kept practicing music as his creative hobby after his work hours.
