Omar Abdullah, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir & the leader of National Conference recent replied to the statement made by PM Narendra Modi dated Sunday. Modi asked the residents of this controversial state to keep away the Mufti and Abdullah families from power positions to ensure the development of the state.
Sighting his disappointment, Omar Abdullah tweeted as a reminder to Modi pointing out towards the alliance of BJP with PDP (People’s Democratic Party). He also stated that it was BJP that earlier backed deceased Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as well as Mehbooba Mufti, his daughter for the position of state’s CM.
In his tweet, he wrote that Narendra Modi actually doesn’t believe what he says. On one hand he backed the Mufti’s and now he is taking a step back from his own decision. The tweet was posted along with a photograph of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed hugging PM Narendra Modi.
This is how much Modi ji believes what he says. Look how happy he is to seal an alliance with one of the families he wants to rid J&K politics of. pic.twitter.com/SFtdXJjbhI

Earlier during the day while at Kathua in election rally, PM Modi hit out towards Omar over the reported statement which sought a different CM for Kashmir. He also asked this Congress-led alliance with the opposition to make a clear stand on the statements.
