African American rapper MrWalkinLick too has his own style which is making him extremely popular among the youth. He is the face of many memes that has added to the list of his music lovers.
In October 2019, his song ‘Splashing on Purpose’ was released. This unleashed a series of memes due to his unique style. Soon after, MrWalkinLick went on to become an internet sensation.
According to the rapper, this instant popularity was truly heartwarming. He feels that overnight success is a very strong feeling and quite overwhelming. However, technically it hasn’t been a shortcut for the rapper. MrWalkinLick has been rapping for the last fourteen years.
MrWalkinLick ventured into the music scene in 2006. At that time he was studying in The Miami High School. There he composed a remix of Rick Ross’ song ‘Hustlin’. The song got immensely popular among the school students and paved the way for the rapper’s musical journey.
Soon after the release of ‘Huslin’, MrWalkinLick started performing at schools. From there, he got a contract with a music label that still exists.
Record label company Stack Money Entertainment signed MrWalkinLick. With them he released his single called ‘Dream’. Music lovers can also enjoy his album with eight tracks in collaboration with SMoovement. The album is called SMOOVETAPE.
