Shane Mulgrew Talks About 4 Pillars of Peak Performance

How to Perform the Best of Your Abilities

Shane Mulgrew, a Peak Performance Coach who helps Entrepreneurs scale their business to 7-Figure growth and live an optimal life, sheds some light on the essential pillars of achieving peak performance.

In order to be a peak performer in life, you need to establish strong pillars, i.e.the foundation that supports your goals and visions. Each of the pillars have direct correlation with one another and can greatly impact your chances of success. Industry thought leaders who have also been peak performers have systems and processes in place that they follow diligently to attract goodness in life.

Whether you’re aiming to achieve peak performance in business or health, developing these four pillars would help you get the best out of yourself. You will need to use and practice all of them to succeed.

Mindset

Setting up the right mindset marks the beginning of most success stories. It all starts with setting up your mind and making a conscious decision to achieve something you truly desire. While doing so, you must carefully examine why you chose this path and what drives you to take action towards achieving it. Doing this would help keep you motivated throughout the journey.

Secondly, in order to achieve peak mindset, follow visualization techniques to picture what it would be like to be the peak performer you aspire to become. Manifestation helps in steering the thought process to work more proactively towards your goals. Shane says “You have to already see and believe yourself as that person before you can become it.”

Self-care and Rest

In the process of achieving your goals, never compromise on sleep and self-care. Make sure that you get at least 6-8 hours of sleep at night and scheduled rest throughout the day. This is because when we sleep, our organs starting with our lower body to our brain, regenerate. This process opens up new pathways which helps us remember new things we have learned the previous day, your subconscious mind is always working away in the background.

Physical Exercise

Today physical inactivity (aerobic exercise) seems to be a prevalent issue. It goes without saying how important physical exercising is for building a mindset of success. It need not be very extensive, even a simple jog or run around your neighbourhood would suffice. The idea is to keep your body moving, which boosts our energy levels and promotes better sleep. Your cells need a consistent flow of oxygen and there’s nothing better than deep focused breathing to help your cells perform better and create optimal health. This is why physical activity is so important and should be a lifestyle.

Having the vast experience of working in the fitness industry, Shane discusses how important physical fitness is in his life and shares his physical wealth formula. He explains how he needs to perform at his optimal level consistently everyday to continue his growth.

Setting Effective Goals

It is important to set essential goals that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound). These goals must be aligned to your vision in life and really specific to what you are aiming to achieve. For instance, if someone wants to scale their business to 7-figures they need to be able to automate, delegate and perform at high-levels consistently but most importantly they need to know the exact mathematical strategy to get there and the daily specifics that are required OR if someone wants to get in better shape, a realistic and specific goal to set could be to run a certain number of kilometers in a particular week or losing a certain number of pounds in that week by following a sustainable and balance program .
