Out with the old, as they say! Dr. Alejandro’s already chic location gets an upgrade. The look of the clinic has been refurbished and upgraded. Located at a chamfered corner of a city block in Barcelona, Spain. The clinic is ideally situated beside Sagrada Familia. It has been reported that its initial program and geometry needs were not the easiest. In fact, some involved in this project would call it complex.

The Welcoming Aura Of The Clinic
The clinic includes various spaces such as waiting areas and consulting rooms. Linking these spaces is a path from the entrance down to the main doctor’s office. The waiting and consulting areas are also vertically connected by a circular elevator located at the double height of the entrance.
The clinic’s ceilings and walls have curved shapes that have been adapted to suit existing angular geometrics. These upgrades in structure have offered solutions to shortcomings of the original design.
The aesthetic of the interior of the clinic is soft, clean and welcoming. The combined textures and colours of the warm lighting and flooring contributed to the welcoming and hospitable atmosphere of the space.
The new design favours the welcoming of natural light keeping a bright and airy feel to the reception and the main office that overlooks the double-height entrance. Natural light brings even more illumination to the clinic brightening up patient and staff moods.
Dr. Alejandro Segarra’s clinic upgrade includes a combination of art decor, backlit image panels and other design objects which have complimented the interior of the space tremendously.
